"When I Was a Kid..." Art Show

I was invited to participate in a group art show titled "When I Was a Kid..." with the theme of the show loosely being art inspired by comic books that we read when we were younger. I decided to collaborate with my 7yo son on a few pieces depicting the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He drew the "bad guys" and then I drew a few things (the Turtles, some flying pizzas, etc...) and then he finished them off for me. I love the results but, even more so, I loved the process of working with my son to create some "real" art!

5x5 Fundraiser for the T.A.C.

This is my contribution to the annual 5x5 fundraiser for the Tulsa Artists Coalition gallery. The T.A.C. was the site of my first one man show and they were early supporters of my work.
